Exclusives (Primary)
The following is a sample of items where I was the primary engineer. These were all items exclusive to certain retailers, including Target, Walmart, and Hasbro Pulse. My role as a primary engineer was to ensure the proposed designs were feasible, submit financial and legal documentation, enforce budget restrictions on designer requests, test samples for engineering and design standards, and confirm that the final product matches the designer, graphic artist, and structure engineer's proposals by maintaining communication with vendors in Asia, all while adhering to strict timelines and deadlines.
HasLab Unicron
What can only be described as an absolute behemoth, Unicron was a crowdfunded concept that broke participant records at the time. The final product was 30 inches tall with 50 points of articulation and could transform between planet and robot modes. I assisted the primary engineer on this item by helping her test and inspect the samples, tracking all the noted issues, and contacting the vendor with the issue tracker for new and improved samples. The following is a sample of items where I was a secondary engineer or assisted the primary engineer. These were all items exclusive to certain retailers, including Target, Walmart, and Hasbro Pulse. My role as a secondary engineer was to submit legal documentation, test samples for engineering and design standards, and confirm that the final product matches the designer, graphic artist, and structure engineer's proposals by maintaining communication with vendors in Asia. As a secondary engineer, I was not responsible for most of the preliminary work or maintaining schedule, but I was sure to always provide a quick turnover with my tasks to avoid hindering or slowing down the roles of other stakeholders.
